In the golden age of Asia
Korea was one of its lamp - bearers

Hibiscus will twine with Magnolias
Across the war-wary land.
Goshawks will fly with Magpies,
Gunfire transformed into bird songs.

벚꽃은 만발해 비무장지대를 뒤덮고
무궁화는 목란꽃과 한데 어우러지리
전운이 감도는 땅을 가로질러
참매는 까치와 함께 날아가리
총성은 새들의 노래로 바뀌리라
